The IVMF Advising Team has put together an Interviewing Guide to assist you with preparing for upcoming interviews. It covers how to utilize a job posting and company research to answer some of the common, hard-hitting questions that interviewers ask. It also helps you prepare your own questions to ask at the end of the interview.

The O2O-VCTP and Hire Heroes USA are proud to announce a partnership that will assist transitioning military members, veterans and their spouses in the next phase of their careers.

As an added benefit to your enrollment in the program, you are eligible to connect with representatives of Hire Heroes USA for specialized career services support at no cost. Hire Heroes USA can assist you with your job search by providing free, individualized services, including resume revision, interview and networking techniques, as well as effective job search skills. Other services include federal resume review, American Corporate Partners mentorship, and much more.

In order to best take advantage of this opportunity, you should be:

  • Current O2O-VCTP Student and Graduate
  • Completed with at least 1 course
  • Within 12 months of separation from active duty, if applicable
  • Ready to work with a Veteran Transition Specialist on your next career

Hire Heroes USA is a national nonprofit that is a preferred veteran employment service organization. HHUSA’s services are available for both veterans and military spouses. It offers personalized focus on career coaching that improves clients’ quality of life and empowers them to succeed in the civilian workforce. HHUSA’s employment services allow you to be registered with Hire Heroes USA and assigned a Veteran Transition Specialist from HHUSA who will assist you overall career services support.
